New Potion Bottles / Welcomes / New Cupboard

First I would like to Welcome New Followers. Thank you for following my blog and all the great comments.

I sold quite a few potion bottles the last week so I created some new styles that will be listed in my Etsy shop later today or tonight. Here are some pictures of the new bottles.

And next here is a picture of the new cupboard I have started on. This will be a Halloween themed cupboard containing some of the wonderful items I purchased from Lorraine at Dfly Creations. This cupboard isn't named yet so feel free to offer up suggestions. Hope everyone is getting their fall chores done. The leaves are really beautiful here.

Miniatures from Etsy Sellers

Mad Hatter's Hat

I wanted to show off some miniatures I have bought from some favorite Etsy Sellers. I apologize in advance, I can't put links with my computer with the key board broken.

The first is from my friend Kat the Hat Lady. I ordered a wonderful Mad Hatters Hat from her and was blown away by the detail and fine materials used in her hats.

The next is a Werewolf I purchased from Blue Bonnet Ladies, I don't know much about them except I love Werewolves and had to have him the minute I saw him.

I have been making some new potion bottles to list in my Etsy shop. My bottles are in one inch scale as are most of the miniatures I create.

Poison Bottles and Applesauce

I thought I would share the potion bottles I finished last night. They all have a poison theme. I am pleased with how they turned out and will make some more sets of smaller potion bottles this week. This is a busy time of year at our place. We have many varieties of apple trees, the apples ripen at different times. Some are just for cooking and some need a hard frost to sweeten them up. Welcomes and New Potion Bottles

First a Big Welcome to new followers Annie at Obsidian Hall, Rosella, Pan and Peggy, what an honor to have such wonderful followers ~

I have been doing a few custom orders and making these potion bottles. I have wanted to do potion bottles but wanted mine different like everything else I create. So here is my take on potion bottles ala Dark Squirrel.

Hubby is cooking down apples for applesauce, this year we have a bumper crop of apples, Annie is taking a nap in the garage waiting for me to throw her Jolly Balls before I head over to Secret Squirrel.

All Hallow's Eve

She is finished...Thank you Wendy for naming her. I do like how this cupboard turned out. Autumn is my favorite season and besides black these are my favorite colors. I will do one more Halloween cupboard after I receive my order from Lorraine at DFLY who is making me some wonderful bits to use in my pieces. Here is the finished cupboard, I will list it in my Etsy shop tonight.

Progress, Welcomes and Behind Closed Doors

Progress on my Halloween cupboard is going slow. I usually design the top first but this time I am doing it last. I am posting a picture of the bottom with the doors open so you can see the little owl who is sleeping on the bottom shelf. I might have a big owl on top of the cupboard too just can't make up my mind. I am still looking for a name tho I do like All Hallows Eve. I am working on an arrangement in a cauldron this evening to go on top.

Sneek Peek

Good Morning ~

I thought I would give you a peek at my new project. She doesn't have a name yet, and I am open to suggestions. This started out as a witch cupboard and morphed into something else. I'm not sure where this is going except it is done in fall colors. The cupboard has a padlock on the bottom door to lockup what? It is a mystery you will just have to wait and see. I am off to open my store Secret Squirrel so if you are in the area please stop by and say Hello. I think I will start decorating my store for Halloween today.

Sin is Done

Sin is finished finally. She took a lot out of me, I am always a little sad when I finish a project as intense as this. I get consumed by it. I think she will be in my Etsy shop for a while because of her price, she will be 125.00. I am working on a witchy themed cupboard that will be more affordable. Well here are the finished pictures and will be back with another post in a few hours to announce the drawing winner.

Sneak Peek of Sin

Good Evening

Annie is clean again till tomorrow morning, I had no idea German Shepherds liked to swim so much. Our last 2 did not like water. Here are some pictures I took this afternoon, I am almost done. I have put at least 20 hours into Sin, she has 82 bottles. Enjoy and don't forget to comment in the giveaway post. The Original Sin

Well here it is Friday and I have wasted this day so far. I had to clean off my work space to take these photos, that took a couple of hours. I did have convos in between with a friend and one from Grim at Cauldron Craft Miniatures to tell me Black Magic was featured in one of her Treasuries. Wish I could link that to my blog but my keyboard got damaged ( dropped a Buddha on it) and I can't link now, half the time the shift key won't work. at least I can put it on FaceBook thanks to the Share button.

Here are some pictures of Sin a new cupboard I am working on and the next on which I just started, it will be a witch theme I think. I have just started gluing on findings and have many bottles to make. Sin is black with a copper crackle finish and highlights. I took out and added shelves and built another shelf on top. I have one more busy weekend at Secret Squirrel then I can kick back a bit.

Annie is out chasing butterflies and dragonflies, she never catches them but sure does try.
