Nefertiti's Secret

Nefertari is a favorite as is anything Egyptian. This is for her, fit for a Queen. I sold Black Widow so I will do another Gothic project soon. I will try and post some doll house pictures this weekend. I will be very busy in Secret Squirrel the next 3 weekends. Next weekend is our town's celebration, April is doing an art show on the porch of Secret Squirrel and I will be inside selling treasures. Enjoy.

My Pretty Alien

I just finished this piece and am pleased with how it turned out. It's called My pretty Alien. I am doing a series of dresser displays in 1/12 scale and this is the first. You guys have probably figured out that I am a little strange by now and this proves it. Annie says Hi to all, she is too busy to come in the house with her pond and chasing butterflies. I noticed we have lots of dragonflies on the pond, they are so beautiful.

Ta Ta for now,

Harp 2 is Finished

The second harp is finished, now I can get out of Fairy mode. I really enjoyed doing these because they are different. I like all the acorn cap planters on this one. It comes with a chipmunk and scatter of fall leaves. Thank You for the nice comments on my work. I am working on a UFO project, will post pictures before I put on Etsy.

Autumn Fairy Harp

I have needed to make some Fairy Harps for my shop for sometime. I have to be in the mood for moss and fae, we have had fall like weather the last few days so I made Autumn Harps. I think I like these better than my regular harps with flowers. The second one isn't finished yet and is over the top with many acorn planters. Here is the one I will list in my Etsy shop today. I am working on some smaller projects for my shop which I will post when they are complete. Annie is enjoying the cooler weather, we had a scare with her this weekend. She eats everything she sees, we uncovered a cow skull digging the pond bigger which she grabbed and chewed on. It made her have a blockage and made her very sick, she is on the mend now and feeling good. I will be glad when the puppy stage has ended. I will show some doll house pictures this week, sorry I didn't get around to it last week. Thank You for reading my ramblings.

What a Day

Welcome New Followers ~

I finished my Gothic perfume cupboard, can't think of a good name for it, here are some pictures. If you think of a good name let me know. It was 95 degrees here today, Annie kept busy swimming and rolling in the mud. You have to hose her off every night before she can come indoors. I sold my Magical Fae Glider in my Etsy shop today and made mushrooms in acorn caps for a customer. I am beat, don't think I will be burning the midnight oil tonight. Stay tuned for doll house pictures this week.

A Few of My Miniature Collections

Here are 2 of my collections. First my miniature brass collection, some pieces are older than me and I have had since I was a child. I think I was born with a fascination for tiny things. I am in the process of finding small cupboards to house my collections. My brass collection is in a cupboard found at a yard sale, I had to paint and paper to my liking. Next is my collection of tiny Buddhas, I have Buddhas in all sizes every where. I haven't found the perfect cupboard for my tiny Buddhas so they are on a old tray turned sideways. I am also posting a picture of my Lizzie Borden room box which is not finished. Enjoy.

Happy Friday

We have been busy moving rocks to line our enlarged pond, Annie loves it as it is deeper. I will post pictures when done. Here are a couple of projects I have been working on. The green and black Gothic will be next, have made some bottles for it but haven't thought up a name or theme yet. The copper cupboard has just started on the paint, many more layers to go. I will do another post tonight with some pictures of my collections of odd miniature things.

Stay Cool

Sunday Is Not Fun Day

Happy Sunday one and all. My day started off great, I sold Absinthe Hell and all was well. Hubby took Annie for her morning walk so I decided to sweep the floors, I found a water damage on the edge of the wood flooring in dining room. Turns out to be leak at hot water heater in closet in that room, hopefully we caught it soon enough that the floor isn't going to buckle. I am almost done with Death and Decay, here are a few pictures. I hope to have it done by Tuesday. Well off to Secret Squirrel to sell treasures, please drop by if you are in the area.

Death and Decay

My new project is far from what I thought it would be. I just feel like doing a really dark and macabre piece. I am coming off a 2 day pounding headache so maybe I can get some work done. This came to me yesterday when I posted pictures of my cleaver collection on FaceBook to show April my latest find. So get ready for blood, knives and darkness with a sense of humor. Am only posting 1 picture of Death and Decay so far and my cleaver collection. Every one take care and keep cool.

Absinthe Hell is Finished !!!

Welcome new followers. Absinthe Hell is finished and will be listed in my Etsy store today. I am pleased with the finished cupboard, I decided not to use the green candle holder. In fact there are no candles. Absinthe is so green and sparkley she glows. She is full of emotion bottles, skulls, absinthe bottles whose labels are from magicpug on etsy. I added little pictures, rotting death lilies and dragon flies. Absinthe Hell is about the hell of addiction. I don't know what the next Hell will be, I need to make some fairy harps and start on a commission. I am proud to announce I am a member of Team MIDS and Etsy Dark Team.

Absinthe Hell Coming Along

Absinthe Hell is coming along very slowly. Way to many interruptions last week. My daughter kidnapped me on Friday to go have lunch with her and my grandson and then some shopping. April bought me Alice In Wonderland for my birthday so I can now watch it again. As you can see I have added some little side shelves and ripped out shelves and added more. The cupboard has been grunged and sealed, I still need to add some grunge to my bottles and make more. Don't ask what the thing on top is with the dangling green beads, was going to be a candle holder but maybe not. Next post you will see this finished.

Till The Finish,

Absinthe Hell

I am getting a slow start on Absinthe Hell. First I didn't like the cupboard so I made a back for it, I had 2 more cupboards for future projects setting there so I dinked with them and side tracked myself, I think I have adult ADD sometimes. I finally last night got it to the point I wanted anyone to see it. So here it is in the first stages, I still need to seal it but wait to do that till I am done gluing stuff on it. I so far have vintage stampings, vintage buttons and some cool bead cones. I will post more as I get further along, I will start my bottles tonight which involves me gluing my fingers together.

Knight's Cupboard Finished

I finished 2 days ago and have been too busy to post. Here it is finished. I have had a hard day starting with my washing machine committing suicide. It was full of wet Levi's and socks, had to pull out wet heavy clothes and bail out all the water as Annie tried to help LOL. I will be starting Absinthe Hell this week and will post as I go. I want to Thank everyone for their wonderful comments on my cupboards, it means a lot to me.

Knight's Cupboard Ready To Load

Here is where I am so far. The cupboard is ready to start loading and I need to find some more embellishments for the top, am looking for a missing box of bling. This cupboard is for a boy so I didn't want to make bead bottles so I came up with the idea to use 9mm brass from spent bullets, modern warriors use guns instead of swords. I will post pictures when this is done, I still haven't decided all the contents. I will be starting my next Hell project which will be Absinthe Hell.

A Knight's Tale

I just have to say Thank You for following my blog, I now have 11 followers YIPPIE! This week I am working on a commission for a Knights Cupboard for a child. I have picked a vintage cupboard that looked a little medieval and cut a back for it with the scroll saw my hubby just bought for me. I am going to start making my own cupboards, I prefer vintage ones but live in a rural area where it is impossible to find anything. How to find supplies when you live in the middle of nowhere will be a post in itself. I got the back glued on my cupboard and did a little painting and ripped out some shelves. I still don't know what all will go in here. I have gathered up some bits and am making shields and some flags. I made a Templar knights helmet to put in the cupboard. Maybe some of my followers have some ideas to what I need to fill this cupboard. I have some swords stashed away and will use them. I will post pictures when I start to place my bits.

Till next time,
Victoria
