There is a knock at the door........

There is a knock at the door... Who could it be now? So many pass over the threshold of Vulture's Roost. Could it be the long awaited Count? Look at his Beautiful cape ~

He turns to the voice of his beloved ~

You came for me! Oh Count I am sorry I thought you wouldn't come.

My Dear Hattie, I have thought of nothing but you for the months we have been apart.

The happy couple reunited at last ~

Thank you to Linda Wooten for dressing The Count. Linda makes the most Beautiful draperies for doll houses and as you can see is the most excellent seamstress. You can find Linda here and on FaceBook here. Thank you so much Linda!

The cast of Vulture's Roost are my first attempts at doll making, most make with clay that lay dormant for almost 10 years. They are not very good but I love each one and they will live forever at Vulture's Roost ~

I will be back in a few weeks with a new tale from Vulture's Roost. I am taking off for a week to go visit my parents and have some family time, when I return I should be healed up enough to start back full force on my miniatures ~

  1. I love your peeps!! And their clothes are fabulous!!
But can anyone tell me how vampires kiss? Do they regard the inevitable scratches on their beloved's lips as little snacks?

    1. I don't know Glenda. Hattie is a witch and the Count is a vampire, maybe somethings are best left to the imagination LOL.

  3. OOOH! Fantastic Costume!! And it looks as though the Count is Perfect for Hattie! They are a Match made in... Transylvania??? LOL!
I can't wait to see more...
But Have a Wonderful (I was going to say "Break"!!!)... Vacation with your family!!!

  4. Oh my! The Count is very handsome! What gorgeous clothes he has! I'm looking forward to more tales when you return, Victoria! Jennifer

  5. No no no no no! I am protesting because I think your dolls are very very good. Only the good ones are loved, you know and yours are irresistible!

That cape is OUTSTANDING (my new buzzword:) ) although I will like to recommend the Count some very effective olive oil for his hair which is a tat dry..just a tat. Oil's from India, guarantee to make hair black and shiny.. I use it myself ...:)

  6. Yes....finally he has arrived!!! And what a lovely couple they are!!!
    Enjoy your family time!!!
I will be waiting in anticipation for the next story :-)

  7. The counts clothes are wonderful. Your dolls are fantastic so full of hmmm life lol. Enjoy your family time and will expect lots when you return ;D
    Hugs Maria

  8. "They are not very good.." No. They are wonderful! Full of character and very individual. I'm just a bit curious, what their offspring would look like.. =D I'm glad he finally arrived!

  12. Finally... he exists, he arrived and he's here!!! What a relief - and it was worth all the time I've been sitting here impatiently, chewing on my nails, hoping to get a glance at him. But you're mistaken, your dolls are very good, they have a lot of character and personality and now I'll wait impatiently until the story continues. Have a great time with your family and best healing wishes for your arm!
