Return to Vulture's Roost... Planning a Wedding ~

I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and say Welcome to new followers ~

It has been so long let me catch you up on our story ~
We are getting ready for the wedding of Hattie and the Count ~ We have been waiting for the Count to arrive for  months, Hattie is secretly very worried that he has disappeared ~
Hattie has tried to cast a spell to bring him but it just brought bats ~  Hattie has not heard a word from him in two months and is trying to keep a brave face about the whole matter ~ Marie and Carlanne are trying to help with the wedding plans so Hattie will leave and life can get back to normal ~ So we are planning a wedding.
Marie has called a wedding planner... meet Katrina the wedding planner ~

Hattie, Carlanne and Marie meet with Katrina. Hattie likes this, Katrina has Champagne. Katrina tells them she will handle the whole affair. They decide on the food, invitations and guest list. All Hattie has to do is pick her dress, Hattie tells everyone she will be the most beautiful bride in history and she is sure The New York Times will run a front page story on the nuptials ~
Marie and Carlanne drop off Hattie at Simone's when they are done, a little Hattie goes a long way ~

Back at Simone's Hattie goes up to the loft and gazes at her reflection in the mirror ~ The little story that follows was written by my friend Maria ~
Once upon a time, not so very long ago, a beautiful witchling was born.  As was tradition, her 6 fairy witch mothers were given the duty of naming the babe.  With that said, you are the first to hear our bride-to-be’s full spell-given name.  Haggaleana Amphibiana Tactlessa Tattoomama Indelabella Esmeralda.  She is known as Hattie for short.
As the formative years passed, young Hattie became an indescribable witch herself. Most often she gazed into the mirror for hours admiring the image that lovingly stared back.  She was actually the first to coin the phrase, “Mirror, mirror on the wall… who’s the fairest of them all?”
To Hattie’s joy, her Warlock father arranged Nuptials between his daughter and a visiting Count.  After blowing her betrothed a quick kiss, Hattie raced off to begin planning her trousseau.  The Count returned to his own home to announce the news to his family.
I hope you enjoyed that as much as I did ~ Thank you so much Maria!

Simone and Nigel can hear Hattie in the loft talking to herself ~ " I hope the Count arrives soon, I can't take much more of Hattie" Simone tells Nigel ~

As promised here are some pictures of the outside of Simone's cabin ~

This is the chimney that took weeks to build. It is a wood  box that I built covered with egg carton stones. I grouted and painted the "stones".

This is the bear climbing out the chimney ~ this being a hunting lodge in it's former life the bear was fitting ~ I think I am going to leave him ~

Back at Vulture's Roost on the Vulture Terrace we seem to have a trouble brewing............

I thought I would end today's post with a picture of a WIP. This is a potion cupboard I am making for myself ~ I found the cupboard at a yard sale for 1.00 last summer. It is bigger than one inch scale, I have made a few things for it and will add more as time allows. I even put Annie's baby teeth in a little jar and made a label for it, what else do you do with puppy teeth?

I will be back soon with another tale of Vulture's Roost ~

Until then.....

None of the people in this story are real ~
People are never real except after midnight ~

Victoria ~
