| The work begins... this is the dining room, I tried to peel off the old wallpaper but it wouldn't bulge, I remember I used real wallpaper paste on it. I got the brilliant idea to paint the walls with chalk paint like you use on furniture, my helpers have arrived so I can hand this over to them ~ |

| Nigel and his cousin Winston have been hired to do the remodel on Raven's Moon, Winston can really paint fast. I have printed out some paper for the floor and will add it when the painting is finished ~ |

| We received a package today from friend Shirley at Shirley's Dream City for being her first blog followers. Thank you so much Shirley! What a fun assortment of gifts, the dragons will use the basket to gather treasures on their next nature hike, the magical stones, skull and broom will go in Vulture's Roost and the silk fabric will be used in bedding for Hattie and The Count's new bed. The table will be saved for a future project. There was one more treasure in the package and Nigel has laid claim to it ~ |

Moving into a new home takes lots of work. I see that Hattie has hired a work crew so she doesn't have to get her delicate nails messy. Winston and Nigel make a great remodeling team. And just look how quickly they are working. Maybe they will start their own TV show before long. Hattie and her Count's housewarming gifts are wonderful. Can't wait to hear Nigel's new songs. I am sure they will be a howling success.

ReplyDeleteOh, Winston looks like a real "doll" !LOL! I think this new project is a whole lot of fun, and the gifts from Shirley are fantastic! And of Course Nigel has always wanted to be a Rock star!!! I can just hear it.... "Werewolves of London.... Awooooo....!!!"

I had the same thought as Betsy about "Werewolves of London" when seeing my darling Nigel with his new guitar... or maybe a rock version of Milow's "Howling at the Moon"? Or of Duran Duran's "Hungry like the Wolf"? Or maybe something like "I'm just a lonely wooolf... lonely and bluuuue"... eh... wrong text... anyway... Seeing Nigel so very happy smiling all over his handsome face made my day - and the other gifts are stunning, too. Winston and Nigel make a great renovating team, I wish I had these guys here while working on Gertie's retirement home... ;O)
