Vulture's Roost...A new drawing, a Bat Problem and an interesting find ~

Fade in...Simone's cabin ~After whispering to the bat for help, Hattie tried to sneak out only to run into Simone and Nigel ~ Nigel comments "Why are all those bats hanging on you and what business do you have in Simone's loft?" Dusty Pearl and Wulf are excited by bat covered Hattie ~

Hattie is screaming "Get these bats off of me, they are scratching my beautiful skin and messing up my hair" Too bad Hattie 350 miles to the nearest Red Door Salon heehee ~

Simone has had enough of Hattie and her spells gone bad ~ "Please  leave and take all your little bat friends with you"
Will Hattie get rid of the bats? Will the Count ever arrive? Does he even exist? Will there be a wedding?

Before we leave, I wanted to let you know Simone received some of the boxes containing her books ~

Before I go I wanted to share a find ~ These are tiny antique pictures that I found in the bottom of a box of pictures I purchased for Secret Squirrel Vintage my brick and mortar store ~ I rarely keep anything because I have too much stuff as it is ~ I am going to keep these tiny pictures for one of my doll houses, aren't they interesting? The old man is downright creepy ~

    OOOOKAY...... So maybe the Bats aren't helping much....But Maybe there is a Friendly Raven around? Smarter and Bigger than Bats.... maybe even Scarier if it's Coming LOOKING for you....?
    Hee Hee, I LOVE it that Hattie's bats are all stuck on her!!!
    Please DON'T enter me in the Vampire drawing.... I'm a Little too chicken to have Vamp stuff around.....!!!! :)

    No I understand what is meant by "bat hair day"... ;O) The suspense is rising and rising - I can't hardly wait anymore to see the count. Will he really marry her - how could anyone be so... eh... I'd better stop now *teehee*

    I got a new monitor and I can read your blog again! My old monitor was so dark and so I had trouble with your background- but here you are now bright and pretty :) Love the story- can't wait to hear more. When I have time I'm going to have to read backwards and catch up!

    The old man is scary!!! hope you find a good place for him and the other pictures :-)
    Love the bat story!!! Hattie looks nice with all those bats stuck on her...who needs a count when you can have bats LOL Or maybe one of them IS the count in diguise??? Can't wait to hear how the story will continue!!

    Always love your stories V. Batty Hattie had me in stitches again! But those vamp pictures really crept me out. It doesn't help that it is cold here.
